FILMBASE Successfully Holds First Women's Congress

On the afternoon of September 1, FILMBASE's inaugural Women's Congress was solemnly convened at Baolong Smart Home. Female employee representatives from all company departments gathered together to witness this milestone moment.

The conference commenced solemnly with the National Anthem of the People's Republic of China, presided over by Meizhen Zhong. At the meeting, Haowen Jia , head of the FILMBASE Women's Federation Preparatory Group, delivered a work review and future outlook. She emphasized that the company has consistently prioritized employee growth and development, with particular attention to its significant female workforce. The establishment of the Women's Federation reflects both respect and appreciation for women's contributions, serving as a crucial initiative for the company to align with contemporary demands and advance gender equality.

With all delegates present as witnesses, the assembly reviewed and approved the list of candidates for the first Executive Committee of the Women's Federation. The election proceeded smoothly, resulting in the selection of 15 members for the inaugural Executive Committee. Subsequently, the Executive Committee convened its first meeting, electing Lanlan Yuan as the first Chairperson of the Women's Federation and Kuaiyue Nong as Vice Chairperson.

Chairwoman Lanlan Yuan stated in her address that the Women's Federation will focus on career development in the future, actively organizing skill training, experience sharing, and cultural activities. These initiatives aim to help female employees enhance their professional capabilities, broaden their career horizons, foster communication and friendship, and cultivate a positive, united, and supportive corporate atmosphere. She called on all female employees to participate actively, working together to build the Women's Federation into a warm and caring “home away from home.” This will empower women to fully showcase their wisdom and strength on the FILMBASE stage.

As the melody of “Singing to the Motherland” filled the air, the conference concluded successfully. The convening of this conference marks the official establishment of the FILMBASE Women's Federation, signifying that the collective strength of the company's female employees will now be channeled in a more cohesive and organized manner, injecting fresh vitality into the company's development.
