From September 12 to 14, 2025, the Guangzhou International Tourism Exhibition was held with great fanfare at Area A of the China Import and Export Fair Complex. Cultural tourism organizations, city representatives, and tech companies from around the world gathered to showcase the latest tourism concepts and innovative experiences. Among them, FILMBASE stood out as one of the most engaging booths with its naked-eye 3D transparent display film and 3D transparent interactive display glass, bringing the fusion of technology and cultural tourism to life on the exhibition floor.

Stepping into the FILMBASE booth, the first thing to catch your eye is the transparent 3D display film overhead. Shenzhen's city skyline and iconic landmarks unfold in the air, with intertwining light and shadow and vivid details, as if the future of the city has been transported into the exhibition hall. Visitors can look up and “converse” with the city, making photo-taking the first thing on everyone's mind. Moving further in, the central 3D transparent display glass is bustling with activity. Here, visitors not only view dynamic content but actively engage in interactive experiences: the familiar “Fruit Ninja” transforms into a full-body motion challenge, while the “Guess the Size” mini-game sparks continuous laughter. People spontaneously create, leaving their signatures and doodles in the digital space. This triple experience of viewing, playing, and creating turns technology from a cold display into an engaging, participatory event for everyone.

FILMBASE's two core products open up new possibilities for the cultural tourism industry. Its naked-eye 3D transparent display film and 3D transparent interactive display glass are not only suitable for exhibition halls but can also be integrated into real scenic areas, museums, and commercial districts, becoming new mediums for storytelling. In the future, ancient city alleys might use transparent glass to recreate century-old street scenes. Coastal attractions could overlay waves and digital effects, allowing visitors to seamlessly transition between reality and virtuality. Tourists become active participants, triggering images and engaging with narratives as they walk. Technology transforms cultural presentation from monotony, elevating tourism from merely “viewing scenery” to “experiencing culture.”

Over the three-day exhibition period, the FILMBASE booth remained consistently bustling. Both industry professionals drawn by its reputation and general visitors captivated by the interactive exhibits lingered longer than expected. The event garnered multiple media reports on-site, while industry partners actively pursued collaboration opportunities. Through authentic interactive experiences, attendees not only witnessed Yuguang's technological prowess but also explored the multifaceted potential of technology empowering cultural tourism.

As the exhibition concluded successfully, FILMBASE received positive feedback from visitors, partners, and industry media. This showcase not only demonstrated the company's technological prowess in naked-eye 3D and transparent interactive displays but also accumulated valuable experience for future innovative applications in cultural tourism spaces. Looking back on these three remarkable days, FILMBASE left a vivid “Travel Expo memory” through technology and creativity, laying a solid foundation for the next chapter of exploration.
